1: Life in the In-Between: Welcome to She Lives Fearless

Hi! You just made my day! Thanks for being here. My name is Jordan, and welcome to She Lives Fearless, a collection of my thoughts, feelings, and experiences as a 24 year old looking for her place in the world.

I started this blog because writing has always been the purest way for me to sort through my thoughts, and because I want to connect with others who might be in the same place. Right now, life feels heavy: I’m job hunting, fresh out of a long-term relationship, living back at home, and still at my part-time job. Meanwhile, many of my friends are moving into full-time careers, marriages, and even parenthood. It’s easy to feel behind, but I know I’m not the only twenty-something navigating endless applications, interviews, rejections, and frustration, and that’s why I’m here, to share this journey and remind both of us we’re not alone.

In this blog, I would love to let you in on my experiences. Whether it’s honest updates from my job search, lessons I’ve learned from rejection, my journey with anxiety, or little bits of life outside of work, I want to encourage and stand with you as you navigate your season of change. 

If you know anything about me, the name She Lives Fearless is a bit of an oxymoron. For as long as I can remember, I have let fear run many parts of my life. Even starting a blog has been a fear of mine, but living fearless, to me, isn’t about living life with no fear. It’s about living life despite the fear. It’s about taking those chances and jumping on those opportunities when they present themselves. It’s being scared and still doing it anyway. That’s what we’ll learn here.

So whether you’re on your own job hunt, navigating a big life change, or just here for encouragement, you are welcome here. This is your safe space too. Thanks for being here. I can’t wait to share this journey with you.
